Intro to Ms. Bagley

Dear Ms Bagley
I am writing this letter to introduce myself as at the moment you probably know little about me.
Family details:
Firstly I come from a family of five people. I have one younger brother named Corin and also a twin brother named Joel who is in this class also. My mother Michelle is a teacher at MAC and my father Matt is a surveyor. Our family has one dog named Karhu, two goats named Heidi and Clara as well as around seven chickens which we don’t have names for.
My Interests:
I am currently a member of the NZ U18 Development Squad for Canoe Slalom and I am aiming to get into the junior team soon. I have put a lot of effort into training and I am currently making finals in national races. I have just recently go back from competing in the NZ Open. I am also interested in reading books. My favourite book was one that I have just read called Mistborn: The Final Empire. Other sports that I practice are Football and trail running. Trail Running consists of running medium to long distances up and over mountains and in the bush. I have only just started running this year and so far I have run up Grandview in Hawea and run up a hill near Nelson.
Academic
A lot of my time is spent training however that doesn’t mean I don’t take an interest in school. I would consider myself someone who is naturally academic however my work ethic needs improvement. As a result, my main goal for 2019 is to improve my work ethic and put in the time to achieve the grades I am capable of. I am an avid reader and enjoy reading in my spare time such as in the car or at night. Other subjects that I am taking are Calculus, Chemistry, Computing, History, and Physics. I would have to say that I am more of a Math student than an English student however my greatest academic achievement last year was the highest achiever award for History.
Favourite food:
I enjoy all foods and as a result, my mother spends a fortune on groceries. However, on my birthday, I will usually ask for chicken pie.
Interesting facts/ special skills:
My mum says that my special skill is evading work but I think it is juggling or sleeping. An interesting fact about me is that I have fallen down a well in Cambodia and lived to tell the tale.
